The Story Behind Narratelica
Where imagination becomes stories and stories bring families together
We are a multilingual family. From the very beginning, I wanted to share stories with my child not only in German, but in other languages as well. Yet multilingual children’s books are often hard to find, expensive, and take up a lot of space. At the same time, I did not want my child to be exposed to digital screens too early or too often.
So I began writing my own stories and turning them into audiobooks. But something still felt missing: I wanted my child not only to listen, but to truly take part in the storytelling, make their own choices, choose beloved characters, and discover new places.
That is how Narratelica came to life.
A magical storytelling experience where children can co create stories of their own. With NFC tokens, audio technology, and a family friendly interface designed for both adults and children, we create a story world shaped by creativity and multilingualism for families who value these things as much as we do.

The Founder
Language and culture are not only part of my doctoral work, they are part of who I am. I am naturally curious and love discovering new perspectives. I have traveled to many countries, gone diving, run trails, and I am always in search of new experiences.
Alongside my passion for languages, I am also a dedicated Python developer who enjoys experimenting with technology and imagining new possibilities. But above all, I am a mother, and my wish is to give my child a colorful, open minded childhood. A childhood where diversity is simply a natural part of life.
With Narratelica, I want to do more than tell stories to children. I want to spark their imagination, nurture their creativity, and bring the world closer to them in all its languages and colors through a playful and engaging storytelling experience.

As an expert in plant molecular biology, she now dedicates herself to science communication. On our team, Dr. Reddy is in charge of editing and curating our molecular biology stories, including content for YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.
